\(v_1\)-periodic な cohomology theory の典型である \(K\)-theory と表現論 の関係から, \(v_2\)-periodic な理論である
elliptic cohomology と, Hopkins-Kuhn-Ravenel の理論 [HKR00] との関係を調べるというのは,
自然な問題である。
Equivariant elliptic cohomology に関することについては, まず この nLab の記事を読むのがよいと思う。Quantum
field theory による解釈も書いてある。そこには, 文献として Ginzburg と Kapranov の [GKV] と Rosu の
[Ros], そして Gepner の thesis [Gep06] が挙げられている。そのには挙げられていないが, Devoto の [Dev96]
もある。
幾何学的 (?) モデルとしては, Berwick-Evans と Tripathy の [BT] がある。\(\otimes \bbC \) したものであるが。
最も新しいアプローチは, equivariant topological modular form を構成した Gepner と Meier のもの
[GM] だろうか。そのアイデアは, Lurie [Lur09] のものらしいが。
